De 2022 a 2024, o Procultura na Guiné-Bissau apoiou jovens através da música e do intercâmbio cultural.
O anterior projecto cultural, implementado pela ADPP-GB entre 2016 e 2020, criou centros comunitários liderados por associações locais, promovendo uma participação ativa e proporcionando novas oportunidades à comunidade.
The creation of the studio at the Plack II Cultural Centre in Bissau promotes local culture and emerging artists. The studio serves as a meeting and production point for musicians from the region. An experienced person ensures continuous operation.
Until 2024, the studio has collaborated with 10 artists, and there are expectations of receiving even more talent in 2025.
The Quelelé Cultural Centre continues its activities, training in music, cooking and dances, and supporting youth in creating their businesses.
From 2022/2024 Culture and Creative Sectors in West Africa – AWA supported Aesthetic and Artic Education and the start-up of cultural enterprises.
The entrepreneurship team has followed and supported three new businesses, in the culture project Art in West Africa.
In 2024 the culture area was supported by PROCULTURA, managed by Camões, I.P. and AWA, with funding from the European Union and Humana People to People Partners.
