Guinea-Bissau is a low-lying country with up to four-meter tide. Erosion, saltwater intrusion and landslides undermine living conditions along the coast and rivers. Through the Project “Adaptation of Agricultural Production Systems in Coastal Areas of Northwest Guinea-Bissau” APICA-GNB people increase their understanding of the climate change challenges and what must be done; this supports the resilience of people in the communities.
The project is in its Third year of its five-year implementation plan, aiming to benefit the neediest with increased climate-resilient, sustainable development capacities.
