
On July 13, 2026, the delegation from the Observatoire du Sahara et du Sahel (OSS) Sahara and Sahel Observatory, accompanied by the team from the APICA GNB/ADPP GUINEA-BISSAU Project, paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Environment and Climate Action (MAAC), where they were received by His Excellency the Minister of Environment and Climate Action, Dr. Carlos Pinto Pereira.
The visit aimed to strengthen institutional relations between implementation partners, promote dialogue, and reaffirm the joint commitment to the effective implementation of the APICA GNB Project, which seeks to strengthen community resilience to climate change in the Cacheu and Oio regions.
The meeting was an opportunity to highlight the importance of cooperation between national institutions and international partners in promoting sustainable climate adaptation solutions, contributing to sustainable development and improving the living conditions of the beneficiary communities.
