On 5 February, | ADPP Guinea-Bissau welcomed His Excellency Federico Bianchi, Ambassador of the European Union in Guinea-Bissau, accompanied by partners TESE - Associação para o Desenvolvimento e Camões, I.P., for a visit to the cashew plantation, the cashew processing factory, and ADPP Vocational School Bissorã in Bissorã.

This visit provided an opportunity to closely observe the impact of local development initiatives supported by the European Union.
The Cashew Processing Centre is a prime example of stimulating the rural economy, promoting employment, income generation, and the valorisation of national production, while improving cashew quality and creating new economic opportunities for local communities.

ADPP Vocational School Bissorã is a national benchmark in education and technical training, investing in both theoretical and practical instruction for thousands of young people. Students have direct engagement with the communities, developing skills for employment, entrepreneurship, and the strengthening of their communities.

This visit underlines the importance of strategic partnerships in promoting education, food security, and inclusive economic development, highlighting the positive impact of ADPP Guinea-Bissau.
We are grateful to the European Union for its ongoing support, which ensures the sustainability and expansion of these initiatives, directly benefiting thousands of people.
