On 7 March, ADPP Guinea-Bissau, in partnership with For Women By Women, held a session entitled Intergenerational Conversations, at Hotel Coimbra, bringing together women from different generations in a space for dialogue and exchange.

The session was led by psychologist Elise Bidault, who guided the conversation in an atmosphere of trust and reflection, encouraging the sharing of experiences, life stories and perspectives on the challenges and achievements of women in society.
The meeting provided a meaningful moment of listening, learning and interaction, allowing participants to reflect on the role of women in their communities and the importance of solidarity between generations. The diversity of experiences shared helped to strengthen connections and promote greater appreciation of the journeys and contributions of women.
This initiative was supported by the Project for the Support of Economic Empowerment and Financial Inclusion of Women and Youth in the Cashew, Fruit and Vegetable Value Chains (PAIFJ), funded by the African Development Bank Group and the Government of Guinea-Bissau. Within the framework of this project, ADPP Guinea-Bissau acts as one of the implementing partners in the regions of Biombo and Oio, contributing to the promotion of economic empowerment, financial inclusion and expanded opportunities for women and young people.
Organising initiatives of this kind reinforces ADPP Guinea-Bissau’s commitment to promoting gender equality, the active participation of women, and the sustainable development of communities.
