Early education lays the foundation for future learning and growth.
In November 2016, the Preschool Caberná initiated its operation at the Teacher Training College DNS-Bachil, and is currently being organised and paid for by parents’ contributions.
The establishment of the preschool was an opportunity that arose due to the financial support of the MTN Foundation.
The preschool is the only one in Bachil’s community.
In 2024, 28 students enrolled at the Preschool Caberná. Female teachers from the local community give lessons to the students. The students at the Teacher Training College DNS-Bachil support the school pedagogically, and the benefit of having a preschool at their doorstep is evident for the students of the College.
The preschool celebrated International Children’s Day with the Teacher Training College DNS-Bachil and the end-of-year Christmas celebration together with the DNS-Bachil students.
