On 27 April, ADPP GUINEA-BISSAU officially opened its first ADPP Clothing Shop, located in the São Paulo neighbourhood in Bissau. The opening marks an important milestone in strengthening sustainable and socially impactful initiatives in the country.

The inauguration ceremony brought together institutional representatives, partners, and members of the community to celebrate this important step in the organisation’s continued commitment to inclusive and sustainable development.
The new shop forms part of ADPP GUINEA-BISSAU’s strategy to promote a circular economy through the reuse of clothing and by making quality garments available to the public at affordable prices. This initiative not only helps reduce waste and encourage more sustainable practices, but also generates resources that support social development programmes.
Funds generated through this activity directly contribute to projects implemented by ADPP GUINEA-BISSAU in the areas of education, health, agriculture, environment, and entrepreneurship, creating tangible benefits for communities across different regions of the country.

More than simply a retail space, the ADPP Clothing Shop represents an integrated development model where every purchase creates a positive impact and contributes to building social and community value.
Through this initiative, ADPP GUINEA-BISSAU reaffirms its commitment to promoting sustainable and inclusive solutions that respond to the development challenges and opportunities of Guinea-Bissau.
