The importance of access to quality education in Guinea-Bissau was one of the central themes at the launch event of the 2024 Progress Report, held on Wednesday, 16 July 2025, at the Ur-GENTE – Transadiciplinary Perfoming Arts Centre in Bissau.
During the presentation of the projects implemented by ADPP Guinea-Bissau, the Director of ADPP Vocational School in Bissorã, Mr Djoncom Camara, and the Director of the DNS-BACHIL Teacher Training School, , Oceano Tchongo, highlighted the results achieved and reinforced the call for accessible education for the country’s most disadvantaged communities.
ADPP Vocational School Bissorã is a national reference in technical and vocational education. It offers six boarding courses and prepares young people to enter the labour market with the necessary qualifications.
The DNS-BACHIL Teacher Training School is committed to training teachers for rural areas, ensuring that children and young people in local communities have access to quality education, delivered by educators equipped to address local challenges.
ADPP Guinea-Bissau reaffirms its commitment to continue investing in its schools, promoting quality training and contributing to the transformation of lives and communities through education.
