Projeto IMPACT GB Planificação em Gabú 1

On 24 April, the IMPACT–Guinea-Bissau project held a planning mission in Gabú, bringing together activists working directly with communities on the ground.

This strategic gathering provided an opportunity to strengthen intervention approaches, build capacities, and align community awareness activities, with a particular focus on promoting and protecting children's rights.

In Gabú, the strong mobilisation and dedication of local activists stood out, demonstrating a dynamic and consistent connection with communities and reinforcing the importance of local action in driving meaningful change.

The IMPACT–Guinea-Bissau Project continues to reaffirm its commitment to mobilising civil society, media actors, and public authorities in the collective effort to eradicate the phenomenon of talibé children in Guinea-Bissau.

This work is contributing to creating safer environments and stronger protection systems for children across communities.
