Primary school in Bissorã
Preschool education started in Bissora in 1990 and, by 2009, expanded to more than 31 communities in the Bissora and Mansaba Sector, Oio Region.
In these preschools, 33 teachers/facilitators taught 2.125 children.
From the 2005/2006 school year, the Child Aid Project started the Primary School in Bissora, teaching 1st to 4th grade.
The objective of the initiative is that after the children finish preschool, they continue in the same environment from Year 1 to Year 4.
From 2012 to 2024, many of these preschools closed, leaving only the Kindergarten and Primary School in Bairro de Braga in Bissora operational.
The primary school appreciates the contributions from UNICEF, CRS, ADPP-GB, and Humana People to People Partners.
