On May 14, 2026, the Partnership Agreement between ADPP GUINEA-BISSAU, the executing entity of the APICA GNB Project, and IBAP Guiné-Bissau, a strategic partner entity for the implementation of the project's activities in the Cacheu and Oio regions, including protected areas covered by the project's intervention, was officially signed.
The signing ceremony took place at the IBAP Guiné-Bissau facilities and was attended by the General Director of IBAP Guiné-Bissau, Aissa Regalla de Barros, and the National Coordinator of the APICA GNB Project, Namir Lopes, with the IBAP Guiné-Bissau Focal Point for the APICA GNB Project, João Mandeck, as a witness.
The signing of this agreement reaffirms the joint commitment of ADPP GUINEA-BISSAU and IBAP Guiné-Bissau to promote sustainable and inclusive actions for the protection of ecosystems and the improvement of living conditions of the communities in the Cacheu and Oio regions.
