Women carry heavy responsibilities in the communities and within the families, but due to tradition, they are often falling behind with educational opportunities. By promoting girls’ and women’s participation, the Teacher Training College has achieved 50% female participation.

Each year, a new team of students starts in August and graduates 3 years later in July.
The graduate teachers have formed a network to commit each other to support one another in developing teaching materials, sharing experiences, and increasing their impact in rural primary schools.
This network arises from the graduated teachers from the Teacher Training College DNS, Bachil, in response to the need to continue improving education and sharing experiences in primary schools.
The network contributed to improved teaching, environmental health education, entrepreneurship and literacy programs. It encourages the primary school teachers to work together and promotes the exchange of experiences between the graduate teachers and other teachers.
