As we mark International Day of Rural Women and International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, a significant number of rural women are not getting the support they need to contribute as equals to the sustainable development agenda.
Within the Lusophone Network, ADPP Guinea-Bissau and RENAP GB, in partnership with Coalition Plus and GAT Portugal, held the 1st and 2nd Edition of the International Testing Week, in 2020 & 2021 respectively.
The Vocational school of Bissorã will be supported for the second year by the French-based Schneider Foundation in order to modernize and improve the quality of its training in electricity and solar energy for youth.
As part of the three-year training programme at the Teacher Training College DNS-Bachil , second-year students (Team 2024) took part in training sessions in various areas: natural soap production, drawing and painting, baking, traditional dance, and pottery making.

Rural women continue to face numerous challenges — from limited access to education and land, to restrictive social norms and the impacts of climate change.
ADPP Guinea-Bissau, within the framework of the APICA GNB project financed by the Green Climate Fund, invites suppliers to submit proposals for the supply of:
🔹 Lot 1: Soil and water quality monitoring kits
🔹 Lot 2: Data collection equipment (drones, cameras, GPS)
Proposals must include prices, delivery timelines, and warranty conditions (minimum 12 months).
On the 11 October 2025, we celebrated the strength, courage, and potential of every girl!
But this day is also a call to action: empowering girls transforms lives, families, and communities.
